Temp Kitchen Rent was Established and commenced operating on 1st August 2012.
Temp Kitchens was founded and is operated by Gus Weinberger, who has over 41 years experience in the Hospitality Food Industry, in 1983 he founded Pasteles Bakehouse, by starting cooking in his rented 2 bedroom unit, before setting up his Food Factory in Clovelly and later in Botany, NSW.
His commitment to quality has gained recognition in the industry, in 1985 his pies were chosen as the Best Pies in Sydney by the Good Living Magazine of the Sydney Morning Herald.
In 1994 his new range of Pastry Shells were awarded the Best New Product Award in the Melbourne Fine Food Exhibition, in the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games, his Pastry Shells were featured in an international showcase of local foods to the world media, his products are sold to 5 star hotels, catering companies, restaurants, resorts and other Hospitality Industry Businesses around Australia and beyond.
Although Gus is no longer associated with it, Pasteles Bakehouse is a successful business operating to this day.
Gus understands commercial food production, his hands on experience in starting, building, and managing a succesful food production business that has endured for over 41 years, will enable Temp Kitchens to provide a service aimed at food production efficiency and excellence.
Gus offers limited coaching and consulting services, for start up food businesses, or anyone requiring an experienced hand to help manage, organize and grow their business. Temp Kitchens offers support to all clients whilst they are operating in the kitchen, the Kitchen Manager is available in person or via mobile communication at all times the kitchen is in operation. We operate as a Dark Kitchen, Cloud Kitchen or Ghost Kitchen. Gus speaks six languages, and is fluent in four. Gus is commited to offer a premium service in his 5 star rated kitchen, the kitchen provides a quality experience to its clients who appreciate the great value that is delivered.
